Central Park Sessions

Black & White Portraits in Central Park, New York

I'm traveling to New York for a few days only, and I'm opening a very limited number of portrait sessions in Central Park.

I'm looking for couples who want to spend time together in one of the most iconic locations in the world while creating photographs that feel timeless, personal, and real.

These sessions are being created for the Runaway Lovers and Robin Godfrey Photography portfolios and will be photographed in my signature black and white style.

Investment

The session fee is $195.

We'll spend approximately 60–90 minutes together creating a collection of black and white photographs that feel natural, personal, and true to your relationship.

Your session includes:

  • 60–90 minutes of photography

  • More than 10 professionally edited black and white photographs

  • Online gallery

  • Personal use rights

  • Central Park photography permit included

Sessions must be paid in full to reserve your date and time.

A Note About These Sessions

These sessions are being offered at a special rate to help build the Runaway Lovers and Robin Godfrey Photography portfolios.

If you love your photographs, I ask that you share at least one image on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok and tag Robin Godfrey Photography and @runaway.lovers. Word of mouth means everything to a small business, and your support is truly appreciated.

What to Wear

These sessions are photographed exclusively in black and white.

Choose clothing that feels comfortable, timeless, and true to you. Avoid large logos, graphic t-shirts, busy patterns, and distracting text.

The goal isn't to look perfect. The goal is to look like yourselves.

What to Bring

You don't need much — just yourselves.

A hairbrush or small comb is always handy, especially if it's breezy. Bring water, a light snack if you need it, and comfortable shoes for walking. Central Park covers a lot of ground and we may move between a few spots.

If rain is in the forecast, a clear umbrella photographs beautifully and is worth tucking in your bag.

Weather

Light rain doesn't mean we need to cancel. Central Park can be stunning in the rain, and a clear bubble umbrella is always an option.

Permit Information

The required Central Park photography permit will be obtained and paid for by Robin Godfrey Photography.

If you plan to hold a wedding ceremony or vow exchange within Central Park, any permits required by NYC Parks are the responsibility of the couple and are not included in the session fee.

Please note: if your session includes a wedding ceremony, that is the entirety of our time together. No additional portraits or sessions will take place afterward.
